tap

All Over Albany posted an blog, "We'll drink to that" about Albany taking first place for the New York State Drinking Water Taste Contest.  In the blog, "tap" was recognized as a local project to get local people to drink tap water instead of buying bottled water.  The blog fueled the fire that was dieing with this project.  There were a few things against us at the time we began 'tap.'  First, the project stemmed from Willow's green attitude and my need to create a website for a class.  I figured we could start the project and my classmates would be the first audience.  Once the class finished and I had no due dates, I slipped.  I still love web design and saving the environment so seeing the article was an awakening.  I have time and energy to put into 'tap' and I want to make something of it.  So, I'm going to organize Albanites to save the environment one glass of water at a time.
